Simple Udon

Ingredients

# Item Amount Where to buy?
1 Udon 1 packet
2 Hot water 1 serving soup amount
3 Soy sauce ~ 1 tbsp
4 Chicken Rolls
5 Cheese tofu
6 Seaweed flakes Open Link
7 Chili 1 or half
8 Salt To taste

  • Step 1: Prepare boiling water in a small pot
  • Step 2: Add in your seaweed flakes to the boiling water.
  • Step 3: Cut chili into small pcs and add into the boiling water.
  • Step 4: Add in soy sauce and stir.
  • Step 5: Add in the cheese tofu and chicken rolls. (As many as you like but I added 3 cheese tofu and 2 chicken rolls).
  • Step 6: Taste the soup and salt to taste.
  • Step 7: Finally add in udon. Cook until it is soft.
  • Step 8: Pour into a bowl and plate as you like.
  • Step 9: Done! Enjoy and take those aesthetic photos as you like!

Tips & Tricks/Notes

If you have a beef broth (beef meat boil in water) lying around in your fridge from leftovers, feel free to use that as a soup base. It's gonna be more flavorful!!

 

Add in more chili if you would like it to be spicier as well.

 

You can add in other things you want to boil like fish cakes, crab sticks etc.
